Solutions Architect (Presales Engineer)
Job Overview:
As a Pre-Sales Engineer at Atria Solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our sales efforts by designing and delivering high-level technical solutions that meet customer needs. You will be responsible for collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that the proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with performance standards. Working with the Professional Services team, you will ensure smooth project handovers from pre-sales to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Architecture: Initiate and design high-level technical projects for Atria Solutions clients, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and seamlessly integrated with their existing systems.
- Pre-Sales Support: Engage in pre-sales activities such as responding to RFIs/RFPs, participating in customer calls, and addressing technical inquiries to support the sales team.
- Customer Engagement: Act as the technical expert during customer discussions, helping prospects understand the value and benefits of Atria Solutions’ offerings.
- Technical Liaison: Serve as the main technical liaison between clients and partners, addressing design-related concerns and ensuring clarity in technical requirements.
- Collaboration with Professional Services: Work closely with the Professional Services Director to address client design concerns and facilitate a smooth transition from pre-sales to project implementation.
- Product Selection & Recommendations: Provide strategic input on product selection and make recommendations that enhance Atria Solutions’ services and market share.
- Ongoing Learning & Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring Atria Solutions remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Customer Satisfaction: Develop in-depth knowledge of customer environments to propose tailored solutions that enhance pre-sales and post-sales customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-sales engineering or a similar technical role.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, network design, cloud technologies, and security protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of technical concepts such as scalability, availability, and solution integration.
- Advanced certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco, VMware, F5, PaloAlto etc.) are highly desirable.
- Experience in responding to RFI/RFPs and preparing technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to design custom solutions that meet client needs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Professional Services, and partners.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cyber Security, Managed Services, Advanced Networking, or Collaboration technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions (e.g., CASB, SASE, Zero Trust) and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with automation tools for network operations and security.
- Knowledge of compliance standards.
